Margo’s passion for art and photography has been a constant force in her life.
In Middle and High School she studied oil painting and drawing, art history in Rome and then photography in Morocco. She attended Parsons School of Design in Paris, photographed model composites in Dallas and stock photos for Travel Stock Agency in Los Angeles. After a move to Florida, she pursued a portrait photography business.
Specializing in Hand Tinting, Black and White and Watercolor Portraits she obtained numerous awards and exhibits throughout the years.
Now with the new technology Margo is able to combine her two talents, photography and traditional art into beautiful, limited edition pieces. This artwork is printed on the finest watercolor paper and canvas. All artwork is applied individually to each image, since the foundation of the art is a photograph; there is never the perception that the likeness isn’t quite right.
Margo is able to continue her work with the fine art Black and White and the traditional color portraiture.
Margo’s photographs have been featured in exhibitions, galleries and cultural centers, including the Dancing Crane Gallery, Art Center of Sarasota, the Polaroid Corporation in NYC and Parson’s in Paris, France.
She has won numerous awards: the Columbia Press Association Award, Special Achievement Award for photography at North Lake College and the Bay Professional Photographer’s Association.
She is currently a member of National Association of Photoshop Professionals and Women Contemporary Artists.
